Rachio: Point of sale display

Project Overview

At Rachio, a startup developing smart sprinkler systems and water-management technology, I designed a point of sale display to support the launch of a new product within Home Depot stores across the United States. The goal was to create a visually engaging in-store presence that would capture attention, communicate key benefits quickly, and drive purchase decisions in a retail environment.

My Role

I led the design of the point of sale experience, developing both the visual concept and final production-ready artwork. I focused on creating a display that aligned with Rachio’s brand while standing out within the busy retail setting of Home Depot stores.

Point of sale design

I designed a podium-style display that used bold, close-up imagery of lush, healthy grass to immediately communicate the product’s value and outcome. The structure and layout were crafted to guide customers through key features in a clear, digestible way, encouraging engagement directly at the shelf.

  • Podium-style display structure
  • Close-up lifestyle imagery
  • Feature-focused content layout
  • Retail-ready production design

Retail Experience Considerations

The design was created with the in-store environment in mind, ensuring visibility from a distance while maintaining clarity up close. The display balanced visual impact with concise messaging to support quick decision-making in a high-traffic retail setting.
