Project Overview
At Rachio, a startup developing smart sprinkler systems and water-management technology, I designed and built a scalable email template system to support marketing campaigns and customer communications. The goal was to create a flexible framework that allowed the team to produce visually consistent, brand-aligned emails quickly and efficiently.
My Role
I art directed, designed, and coded modular email templates that formed the foundation of Rachio’s email design system. Working closely with marketing and content teams, I created reusable components and guidelines that ensured brand consistency while allowing campaigns to be assembled quickly.
Modular Email System
To support scalability, I developed a UI design library consisting of modular HTML email components. These reusable blocks allowed teams to assemble emails using consistent design patterns while maintaining flexibility across different types of campaigns.

Email Guidelines
To ensure consistent implementation of the system, I developed email design guidelines outlining best practices for layout, spacing, typography, imagery, and content structure.
